S&G Builds traces its roots to the shared vision of two families, the Sotos and the Gonzalezes, who valued the essence of home and the craft of construction. Founded by Manuel and Jorge Soto alongside Francisco and Miguel Gonzalez, the name "S&G Builds" embodies a commitment to quality craftsmanship and a familial approach to business.
With a collective background in the construction industry, our team believes that every home should mirror its owner's personality, blending comfort, functionality, and style seamlessly. Specializing in custom bathroom and kitchen renovations, whole-home transformations, and additions, S&G Builds elevates ordinary spaces into personalized sanctuaries.
Jorge Soto's journey to Austin brought him to master the art of custom paint, showcasing his dedication and loyalty through over fourteen years with the same employer. Initially relying on projects from a house flipping contractor, S&G Builds persevered through fluctuating workloads, exploring various avenues for growth.

A pivotal moment arrived when an event hosted by the Mexican Consulate and Univision, called Charlas, opened doors to new opportunities. Attending led to invaluable connections and guidance, including participation in EGBI's Business Plan workshop and pursuing procurement opportunities with the City of Austin.
Taking a bold step, Jorge and Manuel approached Levy and Koolhaas Architecture in person, sparking a transformative encounter with Kimberly Koolhass. This encounter led to pivotal projects and introductions to key figures like Krista Earnst, who became a mentor, guiding S&G Builds into the realm of general contracting.
Experience
As Krista paved the path to success, S&G Builds embraced new challenges, culminating in their first full remodeling project in 2021. Grateful for Krista's mentorship, the team is committed to building on her legacy by establishing themselves as a reputable company, expanding their team, and aiming for ten million dollars in sales within the next five years.

Driven by faith, hard work, and determination, S&G Builds has surpassed the one-million-dollar revenue mark in 2022, creating employment opportunities and crafting dream spaces for clients while reaping the rewards for their families.
