Our History
In 2016, Miguel Gonzalez and Jorge Soto founded S&G Builds with a shared mission — to create beautiful, functional spaces with integrity, craftsmanship, and a deep respect for the people who live in them.
What started as a small partnership has grown into a full-service remodeling company trusted for whole-home renovations, kitchen and bathroom remodels, home additions, and ADU construction. Through every project, we've held to the same standard: quality work, honest communication, and total client satisfaction.

Relationships
A pivotal moment arrived when an event hosted by the Mexican Consulate and Univision, called Charlas, opened doors to new opportunities. Attending led to invaluable connections and guidance, including participation in EGBI's Business Plan workshop and pursuing procurement opportunities with the City of Austin.
Taking a bold step, Jorge and Manuel approached Levy and Koolhaas Architecture in person, sparking a transformative encounter with Kimberly Koolhass. This encounter led to pivotal projects and introductions to key figures like Krista Earnst, who became a mentor, guiding S&G Builds into the realm of general contracting.
Our Experience
As Krista paved the path to success, S&G Builds embraced new challenges, culminating in their first full remodeling project in 2021. Grateful for Krista's mentorship, the team is committed to building on her legacy by establishing themselves as a reputable company, expanding their team, and aiming for ten million dollars in sales within the next five years.
